Simple Hack For Veggies on Keto

Like on any diet, it’s hard for some people to eat enough veggies.

It may be because you don’t like them. Or because they are hard for you to take to work with you in your lunch box. There could be many reasons.

But I have a simple little trick to make the whole thing a lot easier.

One of the most important parts of the keto diet, is getting your carbs right.

I don’t recommend NO carbs. The body actually needs some for various bodily functions.

You want the carbs low enough to get you into ketosis, but still have some healthy carbs for health reasons.

The key to this is to eat the RIGHT carbs, and the right carbs are pretty much vegetables.

Vegetables though, can be a hassle.

You have to clean them. Then cut them. Then some of them need to be peeled.

So here is your simple hack for veggies on keto.

  1. Prepare Them All At Once

Have a prep day set aside for the week. Get all the vegetables planned out for the week ahead. Veggies generally keep pretty well in the fridge.

Separate them into the daily portions. This way, each day you just grab and go.

  1. If you don’t want to cook or prepare them, put them in the blender!

Yes, just turn your daily veggies into a blender drink. It’s as quick and easy as it gets.

You can experiment with different combinations, and there are thousands of recipes online for veggie smoothies. Just watch the carb  counts and you will be fine.

Make your keto life as simple as possible, and you will have the biggest chance of sticking with it. Every blockage you put in front of yourself lowers your chances of getting all the way to the end.

I hope this simple hack for veggies on keto will help you. Always choose simplicity when you are starting out on the diet. Later, you can get fancy.

Eat for health, not for disease. Eat to live, don’t live to eat….
