Stress Keto and Weight Loss

Getting into Ketosis can be easy for some people. For others, it may be hard. For most, it will be somewhere in the middle.

One of the factors in getting into ketosis,  is how stressed you are.

High stress levels create a problem where the answer to the problem is LOWER stress levels..

First of all, if you’ve been on a standard  lousy diet, your stress levels will be higher because your body is using up it’s reserves to survive what you are putting in it.

This alone will tend to make your body more stressed. When the cells don’t have what they need to work right, even your brain chemicals will be off. That will make you feel stressed even when there is no reason for the stress.

I actually had this  problem for years. I would have strange feelings of anxiety and eventually started having panic attacks. While this was happening, there was no cause for it. My life was going fine. There was no outward reason for it.  Finally,  that was one of the big clues that allowed me to figure out that diet was the culprit of my health problems.

Chronic stress will hinder your body from getting into ketosis.  Why?

You secrete a hormone called Cortisol when you are under stress. Cortisol actually raises your blood sugar levels!. That’s a problem because  your body won’t start burning fat for energy until every bit of  sugar is out of  your bloodstream.

If  Cortisol levels are high, ketosis will probably elude you.

When Do I Start the Diet?

Does that mean to wait until your stress is lower to start the diet?  NO.

If your diet and health are the cause of the stress, you will only get worse while you are waiting.

I recommend to start the diet now. The new diet will help you bring down stress levels.

Even though your body might take a little longer to get into ketosis, the diet will help the stress levels come down. Once your body gets balances, you will feel much better much faster.

Another great effect with Keto is that you can lose inches even if you don’t lose weight! I know it doesn’t seem to make sense, but there are hundreds of thousands of people who have seen this happen to them.

Other Ways to Balance Stress, Keto, and Weight Loss

Meanwhile, do what you can to lower stress. Getting lots of sleep helps. Maybe watch something soothing on TV instead of news or dramas that tense you up.

Do relaxing things like meditation, light exercise, take a walk, or try deep breathing through your nose. . This is the new, relaxed you.

Make this deal with your body. “Body, I will help you relax, and you will let the pounds melt away. Then we will both be happy.”
