Keto Friendly Fast Food 4

This is day four of how to find keto friendly fast food  when you are away from home base.

Subways are everywhere these days. They are joining the modern world, offering dietary choices for every situation.

Order the Subway double chicken chopped salad

The chopped salads can now be customized. You can make up your own, with your choice of protein and veggies.

If you need more protein, add the meats. Need fat balance? Add more cheese.

A really nice and nutritious option is the Double Chicken Chopped Salad with Avocado. It ends up at 6 net carbs, with a massive 36 grams of protein.

Adding Avocado has two effects. It is rich in monounsaturated fat and fiber, which is good for the heart. But the fat and fiber can really help turn off the hunger switch.

It can even cause you to eat less calories because of feeling full.

Subway has an online nutrition information page if you want to fine tune your choices.

Arby’s Keto Friendly Fast Food Choices

Arby's roast turkey farmhouse salad

Ordering a bun-less Arby's sandwich is a great low carb,  keto option.

Roast Turkey Farmhouse Salad has roast turkey, cheese, bacon, mixed greens, cheese, and tomato.

This adds up to 22 grams of protein with  6 grams net carbs.

Do NOT order the Crispy Chicken Farmhouse Salad. That has breaded and fried chicken and has 26 grams of carbs, which will knock you so far out of ketosis you’ll need a map to get back.

Arby’s has brisket, ham, steak, chicken, and turkey that can be ordered without the bun. The  Roast Beef Classic is the most popular thing on their menu to this day. It also will keep you in keto if ordered without the bun.

Arby’s website also  provides a nutrition calculator, so you can customize your meals down to the last carb.

To give an example, select the Smokehouse Brisket with Gouda cheese, sauce, and a side salad for 5 grams of digestible carbs and 32 grams of protein. It’s a delicious, low carb Keto Friendly Fast Food.
